infinity garden

Infinity garden is a project that looks to challenge the normal parameters of gardens. What happens when edges and boundaries dissolve?

The garden’s journey begins at the arrival court of the mid-century home. Layered, textural planting rubs shoulders with the architecture, creating a sense of intimacy with nature. From here, you are invited to move along the northern boundary, where deep views are framed by New Zealand native plants.

The full expansiveness of the vista to the east is only revealed once you reach the coastal edge. A floating living space is perched among the treetops, offering full immersion in the coastal environment. Coastal natives create an infinite connection with the world beyond, raising the question: what even is a garden and where does one end?

What if we considered our planet Earth as a garden - as one interconnected whole? What then?
